- IBM's promotional thing was that where ever you went in America or
- the world you were NEVER out of range of an IBM service center. Back
- in the "good old daze" compatibility was the biggest problem and IBM
- played that to good advantage. In fact, I'm sure that there marketing
- scheme started the "IBM Compatible" phrase that I still hear used
- today. Thank god not much today is IBM compatible ;)
